I don’t know why I’m randomly reading this except this is one of my favorite cartoons ever. It’s such a treat for Disnerds.

Trivia: Alan Young wrote the original script. I’m not sure if he was on staff at the time. If not, this is almost a fan’s Disney dream story come to life.

This was my personal introduction to Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol as a child, along with The Muppet Christmas Carol. One of the things that stands out to me is how it manages to squeeze the entire story into under a half hour and it still manages to get a lot of entertainment value out of it, like some great animation, some funny moments and clever writing, and even a few emotionally strong moments, most notably the scene with Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit mourning Tiny Tim. Props to whoever animated that moment. Suffice it to say, it still stands as one of my favorite adaptations of the story.

I always love this movie!! I especially love seeing Mickey’s family and even the dark sad moments when Tiny Tim died since it is so sad and very heartfelt
Man I gotta watch this again I love it that much!!
