Easily one of the greatest Christmas specials ever. I remember watching it on a recorded VHS nearly every year when I was younger, and even now I still find a lot to enjoy about this from the animation to the music to the characters to the visuals and all that great stuff.

As for the movie adaptation from 2000, it’s not the greatest possible adaptation and not as good as the special, but I don’t think it deserves that much hate since there are worse Christmas movies out there. I hear there’s going to be an animated film adaptation sometime in the future by Illumination. I really don’t think they should go through with it, though, unless they keep really, REALLY true to the book AND the special, but knowing how things went on The Lorax, I kinda doubt it.

This is such a staple of my holiday experience. Each Christmas I appreciate the animation more. There cannot be a winter that passes boy without this gem.

I love How The Grich Stole Chrostmas. I try to watch it every year. I don’t know why but my favorite scene is where Grinch is explaining to the little who girl why he’s stealing their Christmas tree. This movie is always a fun thing to put on during the holidays. I love it.

This special has got to be one of my favorite’s growing up during the Christmas Holiday season, you have no Idea how well the music, animation, and the Narration/voice of Boris Karloff as the Grinch was such an iconic part of the special, next to June Foray as Cindy Lou Who, and Thurl Ravenscroft’s singing. Oh yeah, Max the dog was another favorite I enjoyed, I loved how he acts so Innocent and naive on following the Grinch’s orders, plus the Gifs summed up Max in a Nutshell. I’m so looking forward to the special’s 50th Anniversary next year.
