I Love Laika. I find their films, as a whole, fall very nicely into my preferred aesthetics. Even their weakest films bring me a great deal of joy and entertainment. Really looking forward to this trailer. Equally excited for the ‘BoxTrolls’ Rotoscopers podcast so I can gush about the film, and offer an unfairly high score to it.

Very reminiscent of the master Japanese woodblock print artist, Yoshitoshi. (Please ignore the gross “Da Vinci Art Print” watermark.) Gets me excited to see some more Japanese art historical influence in the film!
