Great episode! I agree that they kept to the original charm of the Peanuts comic strip and that it was a very respectful film!

My fave part was when Charlie Brown was is in the nurse's office and the kid next to him asks what he's in for, lol.

In one of the scenes, Charlie Brown is holding a comic book. The name of the comic book is Sparkplug which is a reference to Schulz's nickname "Sparky" given to him by a relative a couple days after he was born.

That last voicemail and the discussion afterward is definitely my favorite part of the episode. It's pretty uplifting to think of animated films in terms of their messages and morals!

I think Ratatouille is a pretty uplifting movie. I love the idea that greatness can come from anywhere, that negative circumstances and setbacks don't have to define our lives, and that we make our own lives great by hard work and developing talents.Ratatouille is a film I turn to whenever I need reassurance that defying the odds is possible!

I also agree with the choices of both Land Before Time and American Tail. I love the message those movies share of being resilient in the face of great sadness and difficulty. :)

Great episode! Glad you didn't spoil too much since the Peanuts movie isn't coming out here until late December. >< Can't wait for your review of The Good Dinosaur. I'm planning to see it next week, but my expectations aren't too high.

Morgan, that description of Scrat was absolutely brilliant! I totally agree. The Ice Age movies need to stop. Besides, all these "Scrat shorts" are always the first few minutes of the corresponding movie.
