I agree with most of your review, I loved Ariana Grande's take on Zero to Hero, and A Spoonful of Sugar was so different and really fun. However, I don't think saying that In A World of My Own/Very Good Advice is "obscure and baffling" is a bad thing.

I loved the Disney Mania albums, when I was a kid/teen (Though the quality did drop in the last few) and I LIVED for the "Obscure and baffling" choices. I was always SO DONE with every single album containing some version of Part of Your World, A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, or When You Wish Upon a Star. Every album literally had one, two, or all of these titles, every single time, and this album is no different. I always got so excited when I'd see something like Money's Uncle or Trust In Me, something that no one else was doing. So I was really pleased to see that someone plucked a couple of songs from Alice In Wonderland to cover, because no one else is going to do them.

Other than that, I thought you were basically correct on most of this. I just wanted to stick up for the "obscure and baffling" songs. Those songs, plus the unconventional takes on old classics are what keep me coming back to these cover albums. :)
