In reply to Holly Toto. Well maybe not. Simba was still king at the end of the second movie, so they could've done something like that. The show would probably be stronger if Kiara was grown up and acted as another mentor to Kion in a way their parents couldn't.

I want Timon’s Ma and Uncle Max! Also, I wish there was a giraffe in Kion’s “Lion Guard” group. Disney NEEDS MORE GIRAFFES!
On a different note, it would be cool if they managed to flag down Tim Rice and Elton John &/or Lebo M. to do a song or something music related. I know they can’t serve the role of the series’ composer, but I just think it’s a cool idea.

I am slightly disappointed, That The Lion Guard is not the 3rd Lion King installment I had originally thought it would be, however there is still a very good chance that Disney could make Lion Guard work within Lion King 2 so I am excited to see how Disney plays it. As for characters I’d like to see, Kovu, Vitani, Sarabi, Sarafina, and Zira. Since the series is set when it is, there is a chance all those characters could show up as the series progresses.

Yeah they may as well throw the Kopa theory at Kion. “Why wasn’t he in SP? Because Zira killed him!” *here comes the stampede of angry fans.*

I feel that they should of had Kiara all grown and with Kovu. But then Simba wouldn’t be king- Kovu would be… ect. Also they are milking the franchise too much. I am anything but angry with this. I hope it will live up to the LK legend.

I could’ve sworn reading somewhere that Kiara was going to be on the show in one of our previous articles. I was expecting for her to be all grown up already but nope. I will not be looking forward to the fan theories. We already have a bunch of those regarding Simba’s other son Kopa.
