I like the animation, but the choppy & indecisive narration in this trailer was very annoying to me, and made me feel less interested. I never played the games, since games with crude humor were not my interest. But the character designs look cool enough that I want to give the movie a chance & see it.

*sigh* I wish Jak & Daxter got this treatment…
Anywho…this is either going to be an entertaining film of the wild, surprising
variety or it will be a harmless family action movie.
Or it could be utter, chaotic crap, but I’ll remain optimistic nonetheless.

In reply to aquapyro. Sexual innuendos and meta humor in an otherwise safe and bland-looking story? Who is this game for? Sounds like this game is made for a age demographic that doesn't exist. I could say the same about this movie.

I am so surprised that people are having doubts about this movie just by this trailer…
For people who are unaware of the Ratchet and Clank franchise, here’s the facts…
1) They are from the same studio that created Spyro (before he was in Skylanders)
2) This is a franchise that defined the PlayStation 2 with its shooter-platforming
3) This is a video game series that is famous for its sneaky double meanings.
Also remember, this is a video game movie, that in itself is an impressive feat.

Everything about the trailer made me want to see it …….later on tv :-p (not even DVD)

I think that the animation was way better in Escape from Planet Earth, this seems like a tv special, and the “bad guys” doesn’t look that bad they might be forced to fight by the main villain who’s crime in the trailer is eating cellphones.
I have more interest in that than Norm of the North, who didn’t forget it yet ?
