gah its hard to pick but i guess my favorite scene would have to be jafars reprise of prince ali because its just so epic and afar gives a real creepy performance you can tell he’s having fun tormenting aladdin and so much energy goes into it. you can’t help but feel bad for aladdin though lol especially jafar just slaps him.

My favorite scene from Aladdin has always been the “Prince Ali” sequence. Sometimes when watching the movie, I re-watch this sequence multiple times. For starters, the song is obviously an amazing song, especially for someone who doesn’t sing professionally. Im not sure why I always preferred this song over the others, because the entire soundtrack is great, but I guess I liked the idea of a parade, and I also felt sort of a satisfaction that Aladdin was no longer being seen by others as a “street rat” but rather the Prince he deserved to be (even if he wasn’t seen as himself.) I also love the many different impressions Robin Williams did of the Genie, all within one musical number! I like mimicking him as I sing along too. Overall, I think this scene is a really good moment in the film. Its comedic, colorful, exciting, and its kind of a big turning point in the film (It’s the point that Aladdin goes from wishing to be with Jasmine to actually having the chance to.) Finally, my favorite character was always Abu (especially in elephant form), and this is one of the first scenes he’s introduced as an elephant, which is my favorite animal. I actually bought a plush version of elephant Abu when visiting the Disney Store in Times Square this summer 😀

My favorite character is Genie. He was just so likable and sincere, you were rooting for his freedom (and getting annoyed at Aladdin when he almost didn’t keep his promise). I mean, unlike the original djinni [From “The Thousand and One Arabian Nights”] , Genie actually cares about Aladdin; he saves his life, goes all-out to help him win Jasmine’s heart, and…oh the feels. And the fact Robin Williams (R.I.P) did his voice only makes this character even more special to me.

My favorite scene is “good teenagers take off your clothes”. My favorite character is Aladdin, and my favorite song is Arabian Night, though some versions can be offensive.
