Yeah, a few instances of the humor is a little too on the nose, but none of it is of a nature where I would feel uncomfortable letting a kid watch it. So far it hasn't bothered me, but I guess I choose not to read into anything too deeply. Most of the jokes are such that if you want to imagine that something really "Adult" happens off-screen you can, but they're subtle enough that if you choose to imagine something else, it still works. I guess I'm consciously choosing to not imagine anything too adult happening. Thankfully, to me, nothing has been spelled out in big red letters, so nothing has bothered me.

I have given this and the previous two episodes a chance. I'm sorry to disagree with you guys but while some of the jokes are pretty funny, I can't honestly continue watching this show.

Hear that sound? It's my childhood being traumatized. Haha. But seriously, this is a more adult-oriented show. Not for kids at all. It's packed with innuendo, obvious references to drug use (it was WAY more subtle back in the Muppet Show days), I mean come on! I grew up on "The Muppet Show," "The Jim Henson Hour," even the short-lived "Muppets Tonight." And there was a lot of subtlety in the humor, like a metaphorical wink to the audience. Kermit saying directly that he wouldn't mind getting stuck in an elevator with Lea Thompson when the episode before, he's clearly in a relationship with Denise the pig who is replaced with Debbie the Rat the next episode, what?!

It's just really shocking and awful really. It's like when I was in grade school and had to watch that anti-drug VHS starring Bugs Bunny, Michalangelo, the Smurfs, Alvin & The Chipmunks, and the Muppet Babies. *shudder*

Sorry guys. I just can't take anymore hits to my childhood. I understand that they were trying to evolve the characters somehow, but it feels too much like "The Office" meets "Greg the Bunny." And I LIKE Greg the Bunny!

The IT guy was a bit creepy. I hope we don't see too much of him. I still get a bit creeped out from Sweetums because I was introduced to him via The Muppets Frog Prince movie.

These episodes are amazing. Its hard to believe that the momentum is still going strong. Also that medical school and licking toads joke. genius. I know that some were complaining about Rowlf owning a tavern, even though he has said that he does drink back in the Muppet Movie days.
