they started a bit late & they are afraid that these properties wouldn’t be as popular as they were, they almost killed spidey by their new reboot that got the least amount of money & bad reviews compared to the last trilogy .

they’re also making the smurfs into a completely animated reboot, and making popey, sonic and others.
