And the film could have Bonnie’s last playtime and she could be more into teenager stuff which could explain why the film won’t focus on the relationship between kids and toys and that’s when the rom-com plot comes in I think, that’s what I think will happen in the film considering the confirmation that it takes place 7 years after 3.

Press release officially confirmed that Toy Story 4 will take place 7 years after Toy Story 3 and that Woody and Buzz are “looking for Bo Peep”. This is definitely a sequel. I can imagine Bonnie being a romantically infactuated teenager which sparks Woody’s ambition to be reunited with Bo Peep!
