I'm glad someone else still loves the Magic School Bus. I remember being a bit annoyed by the Nostalgia Critic's dismissive attitude toward it when he reviewed the one or two episodes of the show he watched for it. But I watched it on Netflix again a few months back and I personally think it still holds up as a great example of edutaintment done right. It's able to use the medium of animation to teach science to kids without feeling overly cheesy or boring. The adventures are exciting for kids without being too distracting from the science facts and I love the segments at the end where they teach critical thinking to kids by explaining all the facts they exaggerated or got wrong for dramatic effect. Captain Planet could learn a thing or two from the writers of Magic School Bus.
