In reply to Dan Siciliano. the problem is that no animation studio has ever bothered trying to make eye popping, jaw dropping, tongue rolling and body stretching into computer animation and obviously if a movie does not get any advertisement than nobody will not even notice it and i hate lionsgate

I saw the trailer in theaters once. Once.
Also, I found “Fireball” to be a bit of an odd choice for the background music in said trailer…

Why !!! …….. I’m actually not supersized because the marketing for this movie was poor, and the movie released on different release dates and too late in the US, people might forgot that the movie is coming, and the concept of a sheep going on an adventure to a city doesn’t sound interesting (if that was the only thing you know about the movie) and the movie just released against strong opponents like mission impossible.

It really comes down to poor marketing. Song Of The Sea was an Irish Hand Drawn Animated Movie and that was popular enough to be considered an academy award nominee…

This saddens me, because, it will make hollywood favour factory baked CG movies as opposed to anything trying out a new medium.
