In reply to James. Actually Disney allows recording for panels unless they say so. Usually they'll take you phones away in the film and tv panels however Disney Legends, Dinsey Parks, Disney Interactive, and smaller panels like Concerts and Interviews are fair game. I would know cause I was there last D23 and I asked if I could record and they were fine.

I’m excited for the majority of the things that will be shown at D23, but it is sort of bittersweet. We’ll get TONS and TONS of info from the event, but unless you’re actually there, you won’t get to SEE any of it. No trailers. No clips. No footage. No anything. :/

With all the properties that Disney owns I wouldn’t be surprised if D23 became their “Comic-Con”. Although not animation, I am beyond stoked for the Muppets.

I am so sad I can’t go! Just like last year I couldn’t go! But hopefully they’ll tell us stuff after its all done
