It’s a lot like if Castle in Sky were a television series, but set in the further. It’s a bit more humorous than some Miyazaki’s more recent fair. In some places it’s very light hearted (think Lupin III: The Castle of Caglistro), while other more serious elements foreshadow his work on Nausicaa. (Unfortunately, its never been released in English speaking countries, but FBC should be available on most online anime sites.)
