I don’t have high hopes for this movie. Each time someone has taken the helm to create a live action anime movie to “fit” a western audience it flops. And I think that’s the problem. These writers and directors change it to the point that it’s only the bare bones of the original and never something that feels like it respects the original content.

Supposedly the live action “Attack on Titans” sucks according to Yahoo Japan.
Currently has two stars out of five from two thousand or so reviews.

D: I’m not even that big of a fan, but I shake with fear of how it will turn out. Please Hollywood, don’t make this another Guyver or Dragonball. God forbid they go Last Airbender on this too. That show wasn’t an anime but it certainly has a following big enough for one.

P.S., what other films has this Michael Gracey worked on?

With ‘Attack on Titans’ live action movie coming, I will have to withhold my opinion. I will say it is really hard to translate the speed and movement these characters move in real life. Someone will eventually do it right though. It will certainly be a huge task.

Why does the first thing I think of when I see the title of the article is Dragon Ball Z and its Live Action version? *shrugs*
