In reply to HiccStridForever92. Well, it is called Dragons: Race to the Edge, and it certainly doesn't ignore what happened in Riders and Defenders, so it's definitely a third season of the show.

In reply to brandon. I just need to say that season three is not subtitled Race to the Edge, as the name Race to the Edge is the name of the Netflix Original Series and is made up of at least two seasons.

This is the first time Hiccup is called Dragon Master . I hope season 4 will be called Dragon Masters

I utterly fail to see how Thornado could be considered a ‘plot hole’. Both Thornado and Skullcrusher are representative of different facets of Stoick’s character, and I like how his connection to Thornado was threaded in as part of the transition to Skullcrusher.

Also, Race to the Edge is the third season of DreamWorks Dragons. The last two seasons were Riders of Berk and Defenders of Berk.

Skull crusher is more awesome in the movie………..great they fixed the plot hole in the first season (Thornado) later in the second and they’re working more to make the cartoon and the movies connected…….(first comment) LOL 😛
