I’m really disappointed . This was my favorite park to go to, we always have so much fun and with all the work going on I’ve been excited for change but this is just a HUGE dissapointment. Shame on them for thinking this was a good idea. Way to kill the classics not everyone wants Star Wars shoved in there face.

In reply to AnimatedMadness. Yeah, next time I ever want to step on Disney-owned property (besides going into a Disney Store or driving by ESPN's Main HQ) is their studio lot in BURBANK!!!!! I know the public can't get tours (Disney's the only one of the Big 4 Hollywood studios to not do so), but I am SOOOOOOO angry about this closure!!!!!!

This wouldn’t happen if only they improve and evolve the 2D animation even more. To tell you the truth their 2D animation was somewhat plain and flat.

It sucks that this is going to go away because this is one of the greatest places in Disney History and it’s going away! They better put in something Big Hero 6 or maybe in the future, if Zootopia does good, put in something for them. But where are they going to put the characters and concept art for future Disney movies going to be? I’m a huge Disney fan and this is a huge disappointment for the Disney fans.

I can understand changes, BUT getting rid of the giant magician’s hat?! That’s a monument I look forward to taking a picture with- comparable to the Epcot’s giant “golf ball”!

In reply to Ryan Prieto. Yes! It felt like unveiling a mystery! I remember being super impressed over shelves holding a huge collection of paint for animation cells, there were hundreds of jars with all imaginable tones variations of blue, beige, red, ... And seeing the animators drawing was just too cool :)

In reply to Anonymous. One of the reason for why they are closing up shop (proposed by commenters on Cartoon Brew) was the attraction's gradual decrease in popularity since the Florida studio closed in 2004.

In reply to Míriam. I too saw 'Hercules' being worked on. I felt like I had a huge secret until that movie came out in theaters. That feeling is a lot harder to get nowadays... Pixar isn't too keen on giving extensive tours.

In reply to aquapyro. Well put. Although my biggest dilemma is what it would all go?. If you look at the park as is pretty much something needs to leave or they need to change up the parking structures and possibly buy up some hotels and knock them down.
