Key words "To Me". You may think they are annoying but everyone else loves them. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Also, your not really giving a core reason on why you think they suck. Your just saying they suck. There isn't really anything bad about them and when you get right down to it they are a pretty creative creation.

Like the Micky mouse of my generation (I am probably ten years younger than you). To me they are annoying marketing tool midgets. (No offense to you don't waste your time, here's why:

Minions suck

Apparently that's what happens when you have one of the best marketing campaigns in the industry. Illumination caught lightning in a bottle when they created those characters, and their surprising longevity attests to that.

I am very interested in their future. Despite the success of their previous animated movies, I get the feeling that they could be hitting a saturation point. However if the core franchises they own garner them the money to take risks and experiment, they can put out all the 'Minions' movies they want. I can only hope they follow they way of Dreamworks, the Shrek franchise brought them financial growth and then they were able to cultivate a project I find very meaningful, 'How to Train Your Dragon'. I wish them well in the future.

Well, because they are are lovable and funny characters. They are so simple in their design yet have personallity. They don't need to speak exact english for you to love the little fellows. Also the fact the languauge they speak is composed of other different languages is pretty brillant thus allowing them to reach with other audineces who don't speak english. Plus, they have some of the best fast paced, well timed, and funny cartoon slapstick I've seen since Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry. Actually, more so Looney Tunes then Tom and Jerry.
