I'm glad that visually, and vocally, "The Peanuts Movie," will be faithful and respect the property it's based on. However, musically, I'm a little worried. In the trailers, they have used a couple of Pop songs that didn't really fit Snoopy's world. For example, the 1st full trailer that we've seen, they had the audacity to use DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win," a song with lyrics that are NOT Peanuts friendly. I nearly ralphed when I heard it playing. When I think of Peanuts, I think of smooth Jazz. The Saxaphone, the Cello, the Drums, and that lovely Piano. I don't want Dubstep or Rap with my Peanuts. EVER.

A lot of hard work went into this. Please, don't make this ice age 4. Sorta like how cars two had a lot of effort, but turned out to be a schlock fest.

I do love passion projects like this. Where those involved love the source material so much they can't bare to have it compromised. Here is hoping all that love transfers to the film allowing maximum enjoyment for viewers like us. Excited to see what they have created.

Thank goodness! In all honesty, they could have just translated the particular look of the characters and a lot of people would have been happy. The fact that they took into account the limited amount of character stances that the strip possessed makes me incredibly happy. That takes effort and it limits some of the things you can do with the characters, but it shows me that they care exponentially that it stays true to the strip. A lot of the time a creative team will *say* they are taking good care to note the the ins and outs of an established property, but never give any specific ways they are doing so. The fact that the director and creative team can explain in detail how they are preserving the essence and style of the strips proves to me that they DO care and are being respectful to the source material. Now, the movie just has to deliver from a storytelling perspective and I'll be one happy camper in November!

This is really soothing to hear, a director actually wanting to bring something that really touch people for a new audience, I just wish people would realize that now since all we have including live action is just sequel or re hashing an idea
I really can't wait for the Peanuts movie and hopefully they respect even our Minnesotan way of life!
