In reply to I love animation. the word i was looking for was clean, smooth, and simplistic. Illumination films dont delve into detail like Dragon 2 or even Big Hero. they're very clean and simple in texture and detail.

I really thought this was adorable!
And that cat trying to figure out whether to eat the chicken or not and it totally reminded me of just all the people out there who did that and I just loved it!

anyone picking up Illumination style here? I’m starting to see Illumination’s definitive style, like how Disney (Disney-signatured faces, magic, fairy tales) and Pixar (wild, vibrant, modern) are.
1. They prefer cartoonish-styled character designs, as seen in Lorax, this, and Despicable Me franchise.
2. Their animation is very low-budgeted, and you can see it. they’re not as detailed as the Big 3, and movements are snazzy and fast.
3. They prefer physical humor, as seen in Despicable Me films and this also.
