I thought Toy Story 3 was good as the 1st one and better than the 2nd one.

Toy story 3 stunk honestly. How is this emotional at all? Nowhere near the depth of ratatouille, or even monsters university. I did not feel engaged in the least. The escape scene was unbelievable, that could not be planned so quickly. The way the enemy toys are are so easily talked into turning on lotso is not remotely believable. Woody et al are rescued from the incinerator by the claw, a complete deus ex machina, woody does nothing. Lotso is defeated by a couple garbage men, again woody does nothing. And with lotso out of the way, suddenly everything is fine and dandy at sunnyside, again not believable. What about all of his loyal gestapo? What about the centipede room? Toys are still being trashed and incinerated. And I agree with the post below, andy’s speech is creepy and so is the kid, who already has toys, why would she want andy’s old rubbish? This film is full of holes and is probably pixar’s worst movie.

This movie came out the summer before I went to college, so it was very relevant in my life!! It is the one movie that always makes me cry. I sobbed watching it during a lunch break when it was on TV once. It is definitely in my top 10 movies of all time!

I love this movie so much, especially the end of the incinerator scene, it was mind blowing, jaw dropping when the toys are saved in the most amazing, yet logical way ever, “The claaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!!”, seriously, that was just brilliant, I still can’t get over that scene…

I love this movie a lot! I saw it recently and again I appreciate and adore it more! But its somehow not my favorite Pixar film, and I think what draws me from it now is how Andy reacts to his toy as he grew up like introducing them to Bonnie and then giving a speech for Woody, kinda creepy if you think about it
But again I am just older and sadly Nostalgia Critic showed me that truth but nonetheless I love this movie especially the telephone that talks to Woody since he is just hilarious and the best thing to look forward to in the whole movie!
Overall I do love this movie and adore the emotions it brings out, but maybe its a little over hyped? Not saying it is but just think it over next time anyone sees it

Seriously, great article! You did Toy Story 3 justice 🙂 The movie is truly a masterpiece, I hope we’ll continue seeing movies of this caliber in the years to come.

I saw this movie when I was five years old. It was really good. When we went on a field trip to st Mary’s city, we went on a bus with a DVD player. The teacher brought a billion movies, and one was toy story three. I chose it of course, and people started calling me a baby. I tried to explain how great and dark it is, but they didn’t listen. So we watched another movie, Charlotte’s web. That got me upset. Animation is a very judged medium.
