I came in with some of my cousins thinking it was going to be a more plain and simple madcap misadventure between Carl and Russel. What we got was something even better and surprisingly touching indeed. The main theme by Michael Giacchino set to the 10 minute montage was the best part of Up. Dug was my favorite character even though I’m not regularly a dog person. Other than that, another semi great feature from Pixar.

Now this is my favorite Pixar movie right now! I mean the first ten minutes, what else can I say? ITS TOO PERFECT! But I really also love the movie for Carl since he just is the grandpa I’ve always wanted and omg Dug is freaking adorable! Also lets not forget the funniest thing on the planet, ALPHA!!!!
Overall this movie just holds up so freaking incredibly well and I admire it so much!

It’s been stuck on my mind, imagine how many comments there will be on toy story 3. Also, this is my favorite Pixar film.
ALSO, I watched nightmare before Christmas for the first time, and I LOVED it. Jack skellington is one of the most relatable characters of all time, alongside mrs brisby/frisby

There has never been one movie, or other piece of art, that has made me think about the concept of death more that ‘Up’. It kicks of being emotionally powerful and continues onward throughout. I love up, but I cherish most of all that it introduced me to the idea that, regardless as to how closely you approach and ending there is always another adventure to begin… or something like that.

In reply to Angelo Thomas. Hahaha yeah, I don't want to say that is a horrible film, but I have never stayed up through it. Although due to genetic variation, I'm sure there is one person who is passionate about that movie.

I’m really enjoying these Pixar rewinds… but I just keep thinking about how sorry I feel for whoever is assigned to writing about “Cars 2.” Good luck defending that one. lol.
