Having never been a big Powerpuff watcher, I’m struggling to see much difference. I thought these were the original models. Any side-by-sides available?

I actually though that the cartoon will have the design of the special episode that came out last year, but I liked this design more because it’s closer to the old cartoon.

I love the Powerpuff girls so very very much. Not only was the art style amazing for its time, the writing was phenomenal. From the initial pilot to its, to soon, finale, I was a passionate fan. Just re watching them today is a treat… although now that I’m older HOLY CRAP did they hide a lot of semi inappropriate stuff in the background, or in plain sight but behind your ignorance. Great cartoon, very excited.

In reply to V. The sad fact is none of the original cast were asked back and they are (understandably) incredibly upset. They weren't even told there about the show or they were being recast. They found out on Twitter.
