Monsters Inc is quirky, colorful and surprisingly heartfelt scareiffic fun. My favorite scene is the climatic chase around the many doors the monsters enter! Happy 15th anniversary

I saw this also recently with my sister and I again really enjoyed it when I was older but not as much as I was younger and I guess it might be Mike since well he isn’t entertaining for my age demographic but everyone else was super great especially Randall! Again not my top favorite but I don’t regret seeing it

In reply to Ryan Prieto. Oh yes, work stress and power problems are definitely issues! But because this is a world of monsters, one doesn't feel it is a copy of our world. And I was also thinking, "How DO they think of these ideas?" But I think much of Pixar's success is that they just don't take a random idea and punch out a movie; they nurture the idea, share it, and tweak the story until it is as good as it can be.

Throughout this movie one has the crazed feeling of “How did they think all this up?” The premise is so inventive, so fresh, the very is treated to a world wholly unique. Yes all the problems faced by us “normies” are present in the monster world (Power shortages, job security, and rivalries) but the setting is made all the more charming because of this.
I would have loved to be in the brainstorming session that birthed this concept. Actually I would probably give anything to sit in on any Pixar brainstorming session. This movie has claimed hours of my life, deservedly so, and to this day is representative of a amazing film and key note to the technology of the day (and how far we’ve come).
