Oh, and Antz was a rip-off of A Bugs Life. Anyone interested in Pixar history and a lot of behind the scenes stories I recommend the book The Pixar Touch. Very good!

Agreed. Although I love his music, it felt repetitive and out of character to this film.

Oh I remember Antz! (Mostly that I hated it, haha) There was actually a time as a kid when I used to think Antz was some sort of sequel to Bug’s Life. Than I got older and wiser.

Ahahahaha YES!! Probably half of my movie-quotes repertory as a kid came from this movie. And the “poo poo heads” one in particular is what immediately comes to my mind when I thing of Bug’s Life – even to this day hahaha

Same here! And I find it has an amazing message of authenticity, of being courageous and standing for what’s right… As a kid I found this movie so inspiring and I definitely watched and loved it just as much as Toy Story. The plot is also very clever, with so many unexpected twists, lovable characters and a true sense of epic journey.
