Rest assured, everything established in the now laid-to-rest series of DTV films will be ignored, as the only point of interest appears to be delivering a different take on the Peter Pan story (supposedly through Tink’s perspective).

Also, I mentioned that this story was ‘public domain’.

Too many other companies are tapping into Peter Pan and this will no doubt be contradictory to their own animated franchise (which to be fair is contradictory to the books as well).
Who decided jumping onto a franchise that will confuse audience is a good idea?

Besides, Reese is a terrible choice. It’s a shame Disney doesn’t know anybody whose voice might already be associated with the character… http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0926165/

Well, I did say that Peter Pan was a ‘public domain’ story. That essentially means that after a certain period (say, 70+ years or so), JM Barrie’s book and play can be used by anyone.

Another good example is Sherlock Holmes. A number of Sir Author Conan Doyle’s original stories are in the public domain, which is why Warner Bros., CBS, and the BBC can all spin their own takes on the character at the same time.
