In reply to Satria Rahmadi Djajasudarma. I thought I mentioned the visuals in my review, but I guess I just alluded to it, but I 100% agree. Visually, the movie was STUNNING and one of the highlights of Tomorrowland.

I’m not gonna judge the film like most of you guys based on plot, story progression, or how crappy it was.

Let’s talk about the visual for once, it’s really evocative and beautiful. The city of Tomorrowland is designed like one of Calatrava’s buildings, in fact one of them appeared in the film (as an architecture major myself). The Earth scenes were also descent, just before the Eiffel Tower transforms it self into a rocket launcher. I thought Bird is doing a good job with the overall look to the film, its just as futuristically great as TRON: Legacy.

So hopefully the film would have a strong following, and earn at least half a billion dollars in the WWBO.

I rhought the message was good, the first half is good, and while I did find the second half too complicated for its ambition, I surprisingly did relate to the things they were talking about. It’s not his best obviously, but as a first dud, it’s better than other duds in the past *cough* Cars 2 *cough*
