This does make me more calm for the new film, but again he might make the Pink Elephants bit just TERRIFYING!

I still don’t know what to think or to really expect from Tim Burton’s interpretation of such a classic tale. I agree that the “Pink Elephants” scene – if it’s kept… which is really should be; this is a Burton piece, after all – will probably be the weirdest, most horrifying acid-trip ever known in a Disney movie, and I think just that alone should be enough to warrant this film to be made. That’s the only thing I would want to see, anyway.

However, I am not sure if the story needs to be retold again, especially by the guy who revamped “Alice in Wonderland” and turned it into an odd mess of a movie that still managed to be visually interesting. I have no doubts that the visuals will be a marvel, but it’s the changes [should he make them] and how things come together in the end that worries me most.

The synopsis for day the film centers on a human family that is similar to Dumbo, so there is a possibility that we won’t have our favorite elephant appear at all
