I remember a movie we had on tape called Scruffy. It is quite sad, just look it up. It was an old ABC Saturday Morning Special so it might be hard to find.

In reply to Sarah. Ditto. Just that moment of frustration when Hiro beats his fists against Baymax and yells, "Tadashi's gone!!" gets to me. Because underneath the shiny high-tech armor of a superhero is a kid who's lost his brother and struggling to cope with it. And what BH6 does so well is bring it full circle with Baymax, the product of Tadashi's efforts and wishes to do good in the world, who helps Hiro come to his catharsis.

I haven’t seen Fox and the Hound in like forever but Lion King still makes me cry to this day! And some of the years of the movies poll is really off I think
And I am not happy how low Alice in Wonderland is getting so far

Personally, I think a one great and under-appreciated example of emotional depth was when the late Grandma Jinnouchi’s farewell letter was read to her large family.

The older I get the more emotional I get. Big Hero 6 got a good cry out of me. The last two toy stories got it out of me too. Heck, even Home made me cry. This isn’t animation but I was blubbering like a baby while watching The Odd Lofe Of Timothy Green. Im a sucker for a sob story.
