In reply to Matthew Calero. Cruella's story looked like the 1920s, but within the show it was described as "not in a specific time." That's what the Author tells Cruella, at least. Maybe that's why they held off on anything PATF-related. But I agree, if given more than one episode within that worlds, it would have been really cool to tie in Tiana with Cruella.

Ok this was just full of new ideas that I cannot wait to see! And am I the only one glad that it ends with something original and not a Frozen madness thing? CUZ I AM!!!
Ok so I was actually quite satisfied with the surprises like Henry being the next Author (YES!!), Regina not being taken by the darkness (YES!!!), and well the one I was really happy by of course RUMPLE LIVES!!!!! I again love that Henry was the next author and I feel that it was strong of him to break the quill ending the feud of maybe another Issac in the world. Ok it took me a while to figure out that they meant Disney was the last author but I am so happy that he is a part of this series officially!! (Or well obviously looking like it) And I was a little shocked that Merlin is part of the show and actually excited who he’s gonna look like and if he is hopefully a good guy! I actually don’t like these 11 episode blocks since it feels too story based and obviously made up and not really flowing well, I hope they make the new season more flowy like.
Overall I hope the next season is just fun and hopefully taken more serious and not draw into the “whats trending” stage of the show and just give us a nice good season with great story and characters!

First things first, did anyone else notice Will was at Robin and Zelena’s wedding? Apparently he never left the merry men in that world.

Well anyways, some of the things were kind of predictable. I don’t know why but I just knew Henry would be the next author and it was kind of a let down for the sorcerer to be someone as obvious as Merlin, not that I have anything against Merlin but I was expecting a huge plot twist. Still, it could be a fun way to incorporate Arthurian legends into the show so I’m not complaining. I hope Merlin will still have his grumpy little Archimedes to keep him company. And I just realized, Cruella was from the 1920s, they seriously missed an opportunity to incorporate the Princess and the Frog! :'(

Still, this episode was the bee’s knees and the cat’s meow! All the feels with Emma and Hook and evil Snow White (and Granny) were the highlight of the switcharoo for me. And I really liked seeing Henry take charge, I think throughout season 3 he was kind of a damsel in distress but seeing him become a hero in this episode and that one time when he ran to the mansion to save the page really shows how far he’s come.

About the Aladdin thing, I know it was just a joke but I see a lot of peole complaining about not including his story so…I don’t think we’ll ever get him in the show because of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Alice and Cyrus take on the role, sort of. Sorry.

I thought the season has been mostly lackluster up until the last couple episodes, which were really great! I loved each and every one of them, and this finale was amazing in my opinion, especially the ending of the episode. I can’t wait for next season!

I SO CALLED IT. I’m not one for fan theories on lines but look at my last two comments on the last two articles and I said it would be really cool if Henry was the next author. I was chanting YES YES YES, as soon as I saw the pen fall out of the bag and Henry slowly turn to see it. And I was right. The whole flip flop roles thing was extremely weird. Snow White did not make a good evil queen. And what was with the weird Mohawk thing she had on her head. Charming was ok but he didn’t talk much. He just stood there, trying to look menacing in his eyeliner. Regina was not the best Snow White. It was a little awkward. She was not nearly as skilled as snow was. Hook was pretty good though. He does nervous pretty well. Though why he was wearing leather a a cabin boy I have no idea. And DUH DUH DUH… DARK EMMA! That was exciting. I can’t wait till next season

Wtf was up with the whole Lilly’s dad thing? Was maleficent having a reptilian one night stand with who knows how many other dragons? Man she really gets busy. They just pulled that out of no where just to add another subplot. I mean I wish they showed a glimpse of how the scary dragon bitches were starting to hit it off in the beginning or towards the end of the finale in the diner because the chemistry and ideas they had with them were great in the last episode.
