I disagree about it reaching its potential. But I do agree that it did end the series on a high note.

I’m glad to see that it’s getting a proper sign-off ending, since it seems to be one of Disney Channel’s [and the company’s] biggest fandoms other than anything Frozen, Marvel and Star Wars.

At least the fans shouldn’t be disappointed. It had a greatly successful run for a Disney Channel cartoon [given how most shows are usually given the 65-episode treatment], and there’s lots of memorable aspects to take from any episode. Here’s hoping that their “Last Day of Summer” promises to be a good one in the end of it all!

And I will miss this show. My brother grew up on this show and it was a big part of my later childhood too. I’m sad because this was the last Disney Channel cartoon everything has either ended (fish hooks) or gone over to Disney XD (gravity falls, wonder over yonder). I’ll miss Phineus and Ferb a lot and I hope their new series will fill the gap well.
