In reply to AegysLTS. I wouldn't go as far as hyping for Elsa's ice castle to be visitable, although it would be REALLY cool. However, it's best to stick with Arendelle's castle as it fitted strongly with the design theme and aethetics of the rest of its land. Although judging from the concept art, you'd probably see the ice castle as a miniature, just like the one placed in the Storybook Land Canal Boats in Disneyland.

In reply to Chaz. It's true, and with the TDS expansion of Frozen, you then have 3 different castles. Fortress Exploration in Mediterranean Harbor, King Triton's Castle contains Mermaid Lagoon, and Arendelle Castle.

I think adding Frozen to TDS is the same way how the park incorporate Aladdin and the Little Mermaid as individual lands, to attract younger guests into their favorite Disney animated films, also this is a logical step forward from TDL’s recently successful Frozen Fantasy event. It’s also a mere coincidence that Frozen took place in a seafaring kingdom, like Tangled (only with a more unique, intricate design aesthetic), so I think it fits with the whole TDS concept of sea voyaging. What’s more, they once wanted to create a land based on the arctic polars, but the idea was scrapped in favor for Aladdin’s Arabian Coast.
As for TDL’s Fantasyland expansion, probably i’m more hyped that it’s a small world’s gonna have a beautiful exterior and (possibly) riding the attraction from the outside like in Paris and California.

Bob Iger and Co. have hinted repeatedly at new Star Wars and Marvel presence at Disney USA parks… that’s cool, but I really hope they add Animated and Classic (Neo) Disney to the parks as well. I want another Star Wars ride and maybe an Avengers (I guess, though prefer Guardians of Galaxy), but I really want rides and lands for Tangled, Malificent, Frozen, Jungle Book, Incredibles, on and on…

I would point out that there’s actually never been a “realistically sized castle” in any Disney Park. All of the castles, whether they be the models in Storybook Land Canal or Cinderella’s castle, have used some form of forced perspective.

I’d also add that Tokyo Disney Sea received a new Little Mermaid show only last week, which might explain why Ariel’s being left out the expansion if anyone’s wondering.

Either way, this is really exciting.
