I thought so too at first. But then again, its all about execution. I mean look at Big hero 6. It was one of the most predictable movies I have ever seen.. But people loved it (although I found it meh)

Po finds pandas! He feels like he belongs! Villain appears – he must train pandas. They’re too “fun-loving and clumsy” – he loses hope. Cue inspirational speech, they win, the end. Side story about fathers: He appreciates panda father but realises the goose will always be his Dad. I really hope I’m wrong!!!
