This movie is AS OLD AS I AM (Yep. 1978. I’m old…) and was an integral part of my childhood.
I remember my mother liked this movie when I was really young. I discovered she had a HARDCOVER ART-BOOK of the show when I was maybe 5 or 6 years old, and I remember REALLY wanting to see the movie. She didn’t think it was appropriate. XD
Wound up seeing it as a young-teenager (after having read “Animal Farm” – go figure) and LOVED it. My mother will have been gone 2 yrs ago this coming May, and I still have the art-book. It is something I will always treasure.
