I really enjoyed the Puss in Boots show and not really sure if it’s canon or if Dreamworks even cares if it’s connected. The movie and even the short are different definitely but the show seems more like the Shrek films.

your right, they totally rewind Shrek with the third and forth film, but I hope that they will bring back the director of the second movie again
