I watched the film today, and I loved it! It is exactly what it pretends to be: a fairy-tale. It remained true to the heart of what Cinderella is in a very profound way. I personally thought that they developed Cinerella's character in a masterful way, not changing who she is, but shifting the passiveness and submissiveness to pure kindness and true humility. Seriously, I left the movie theater tonight feeling very motivated to try my best to become a better person, more patient, kind and forgiving (my hubby surely hopes I do, lol!). No need for heartbreaking twists that ruin our childhood memories or fancy action scenes. Now I can't wait for Beauty and the Beast! (And PS, I loved Frozen Fever! It was delightful!)

Just saw the film today and... yeah, an 83% about sums it up.

There were one or two things that were off in the film (and don't even get me started about that dreadfully disappointing Frozen short), but I enjoyed Cinderella a lot more than I thought I would! As long as they don't try to squeeze a sequel out of it (again, looking at YOU Frozen), then I shall have fond feelings for the movie :)
