I wonder if Spongebob 2’s success will cause Disney to revive the Phineas and Ferb feature film project they shelved last year. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

I’ve never watched Adventure Time.

I keep meaning to watch that, ATLA/LOK, Agents of SHIELD, and Agent Carter but I don’t really have time to get into 4 new series. I’ll probably do it over spring break.

This is kind of surprising news considering that other than the Spongebob movies, there really hasn’t been any animated TV shows brought to the big screen since the early 2000’s when like EVERYTHING was. Of course not all of them were steps in the right direction (Looking at you, Powerpuff girls/Jimmy Neutron!), but as a fan of Adventure Time, I believe that this could be a sign of good things to come.

I loved the first season of Regular Show and Adventure time but then it hit the slaughterhouse after that. Seriously, most of the shows on Cartoon Network are just not as good as the original line up. The only redeeming shows I watched are Looney Tunes Show and now Sonic Boom
