Tiny Toon Adventures almost got rebooted 13 years ago by Kirk Tingblad and Gary Hartle. But the executives turned it down and Duck Dodgers happened instead. Don't get me wrong. I like the DD TV series. I wish they'd bring back the Looney Tunes Show. I want to see more of Lola and Tina.

I'd like to see The Looney Tunes Show again. I wished it could have lasted at least 2 more seasons or be at least 100 episodes long. Spongebob's been on for 15 years and has roughly 250 episodes. Frankly I'd like the episodes to be an hour long. Wabbit doesn't seem to be cutting it. It has several of the original characters, some new ones but no Daffy or Roadrunner. I'd like to see a remake of Tiny Toon Adventures. The gang was 13 or 14 in the original series. In this new series they are 16 or 17 and some even drive their own cars. This new Tiny Toons is done to the likes of That 70s Show, That 80s Show, The Archies, and Happy Days. An All Grown Up version could be a special called Acme Acres: Tiny Toons All Grown Up. But that could just be a special. Scooby Doo's been rebooted many times for 40 years. Why not?

Well, here's the thing: it isn't a reboot. If it were, it would say so right in the title of the linked article. A reboot would also mean an origin story featuring the original cast. A film focusing on ACME corporation sounds more like a spinoff idea.

What they're doing is essentially exploring a side of the Looney Tunes universe that we don't normally see at all.

Dosen't sound like a 'reboot' to me.

Although, why in the world aren't the Looney Tunes characters involved in this story? That's got to be the dumbest idea in animated cinematic history. I really hope that changes as the film develops.

I wasn't even aware that there was going to be a reboot prior to reading this article. One word: YES. Of course we need a reboot. Looney Tunes are characters that will indefinitely and should live on for generations to come. The same could be said about other franchises, like The Muppets. These characters should live on, and hopefully they'll do it right this time...not in the direction of Space Jam or Back In Action. As long as it retains what made the originals special, I'm looking forward to this.
