Aaaaaah, I think I like Elsa’s flowery dress here even more than her original ice dress now. The back train part sold me. Holy crap, it’s so gorgeous…

…Oh, this is a comment about the “Frozen Fever” trailer, isn’t it?

Anywho, the trailer really does make the short very promising. I like how there’s little cameos from Marshmallow and Oaken, and the whole “got to make it perfect for ” storyline does seem like it’d be Elsa’s typical dilemma while getting a sudden cold. Predictable, yes… but it’s perfect for a post-“Frozen” mini-movie as we finally see the sisters truly bonding for a special event for the first time in… years! The song sounds decent so far, and the bitty-snowmen… I am so curious about you guys. Are you going to be Olaf’s minion squad? Let’s hope not! So many questions… but thankfully, the big day is in a couple weeks!

So, I’m still hyped and excited for the final result! I honestly think this could have worked for a full movie or maybe just a book, but… STILL HYPED.

I’ll admit the song sounds kind of lifeless, at least the clip of singing, but naturally I’ll reserve judgment until I’ve heard the entire song. The inclusion of Marshmallow, Oaken, and the tower from “Love is an Open Door” makes me worry that this is just going to be a retread of everything we saw back in 2013. I was really hoping that Disney would use this chance to expand on the franchise and not just regurgitate everything they’ve already shown us.

Granted, the mini-Olafs at the end look like they have potential. I’m hoping that they will be executed as nicely as Olaf was (but again, no retreading!)

I’ll keep my eye out for this project. Hopefully, Disney will use this to add something new to the Frozen universe and the returning elements will fit nicely in with this new story.
