The first thought I had while reading this article:
YES YES THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT AND

YES TADASHI HAMADA DEFINITELY DESERVES ALL THE CAPS LOCKS IN THE WORLD

I love that you really took your time to write about him, cause often, he’s swept under the rug just because he’s ‘the character that needed to die for the main protagonist to develop’

I think, secretly, everyone wants to be Tadashi, or have a brother like him.
I can relate to him so much, I also want to help so many people so badly, and I think the most noble way to die would be to save someone you care about. (Which doesn’t mean we should all run into burning buildings.)

But nevertheless, the whole article is amazing, and I could read it over and over.

This movie really deserves his Oscar, it’s a brave statement of Disney and a huge signal that Superhero movies are indeed awesome, beautiful, deep and heartwarming.

Big Hero 6 is my favorite of the Revival and of all Disney movies. It was so beautiful and touching, it really pulled at my heart strings. The story was perfect for me and the characters are so special. I feel such a deep connection to this movie that no other movie could be capable of.

I adore this film. It was very moving, moreso than I ever expected. Every character is wonderful, I love the diversity in both race and personality amongst the characters as well. And I so very much wish Baymax was real, because I want to hug him. It’s released on dvd today actually and I am currently on my way to buy it (I hope it includes the short film “Feast” as well because I also loved that).

I saw this film 3 times when I was in the theater. I love it that much. Not only is the film beautiful to look at but it’s funny and heart warming at the same time. It manages to make these characters feel lovable and realistic. Hiro is probably one of the most realistic animated characters. As someone who has gone through depression, I related to him a lot and I loved his relationship with Baymax. This story has a lot of heart and I feel like the people behind this movie really cared about their product. Also, I’ve been waiting for 5 years for another diverse Disney movie and this one did not disappoint.
