Takahata deserves tons of honor and acclaim as he and Miyazaki has completely revolutionize not only Japanese Animation, but animation overall ever since Horus, Prince of the Sun. The early Disney Renaissance and Pixar big wonders does have most inspiration from the duo&#039;s groundbreaking animation and storytelling (after Walt Disney himself).


Takahata&#039;s/Miyazaki&#039;s enormous ambitions to create enchanting films inspiring western animations to do the same at the time when feature animation were DEAD in the western filmindustry. This duo is responsible for the animationfare we have today and the fact that animation in cinemas is still alive!]]></description>
