I'd probably go see all of them. I'd especially like to see the ones from Walt's day in a proper theatre. I saw Lawrence of Arabia projected on real 70mm once and though it must be unbelievable to see Sleeping Beauty like that

Yes but I think they should also release the movies from the early 2000s that didn't do good back then like Atlantis, Treasure Planet, or Brother Bear especially (BB was my childhood should I think they should specifically cause I would love to see that one in theaters cause I never saw it in theaters but on dvd growing up) but it would be cool to see Atlantis cause I loved that movie growing up also and the crystal chamber scene.

I remember when they cancelled the theatrical release of Little Mermaid back when it was going to be released on blu-ray. It was crushing. I was looking forward to seeing my favorite Disney movie on the big screen. It's a shame, largely because, like the Lion King, it was being shown in theaters just before its blu-ray premiere, unlike Beauty and the Beast which had been released on home media roughly only a year and a half prior.

Ignore those naysayers who think this is a bad idea. I personally feel more people should rerelease their films into theaters. Disney of course, for all the reasons you listed, but other sources could benefit from rereleases as well. If The Iron Giant was given a wide rerelease into theaters and it was given the proper promotion, I guarantee that it would make its budget back thanks to all the people who enjoyed seeing it on video and the like. Quite a few Disney films aside from Alice In Wonderland didn't make money on their initial release either (Pinocchio, Fantasia, and Bambi, to name a few), but they made money back upon rerelease and now those movies are considered classics of the medium.

Not only that, but it would do away with crappy remakes, like all those announced live-action remakes from Disney. And with all these different ways of watching movies through streaming and stuff, I think theaters could sell the experience of being able to see beloved movies on the big screen. So yes, I believe they should bring this tradition back. But they shouldn't resort to the gimmick of 3D. Just a wide rerelease would be enough.
