While they were excellent physical comedians (the classic ‘moving the piano up the stairs’ bit, for example), what made them great was the chemistry they had. I think the animated series will get the physical comedy down, but it’s hard to re-create that chemistry.

If any classic comedian group needs an animated series, it would be The Three Stooges. Now THAT would be epic!
