I’m still utterly confused with the continuity of Spongebob 2. Is it supposed to be a sequel, prequel, or stand-alone film? Would somebody who has seen the movie tell me?

I’d like to see development with other animated TV series first. I loved seeing all the different shows come to the big screen 15ish years ago.

Not really, I mean everyone I see is really going crazy for this movie and I have yet to see it but I don’t see anything wrong with a third movie, but maybe not so soon? I mean it took them over 10 years to release this one!
