You’re referring to IMDB user kenonw, right? The reason why it wasn’t perfect, in their opinion, is because she read the two novels before hand. A number of scenes and dialogue from the full-length trailer and from the two novels were cut from the film. Had she not read the books, I’m sure her opinion would have been a lot different.

i actually agree with that. if people pay attention, they can see that she’s sarcastic and sassy at times. she tried to hit lucifer with a broom. it was her idea to call bruno to attack the cat and get HERSELF out of the room. she complains a lot about the stepsisters too. and she also tried to talk back to Lady Tremaine.

Actually, I think that Disney’s animated Cinderella was pretty tough in some ways–maybe not this tough, but a lot more than the public and their stereotypes give her credit for.
