Someone in marketing thought the juxtaposition of a children’s cartoon and an adult content film would be hilarious… makes sense to me. I think it’s in good enough taste and it’s clearly being marketed towards the adults actually paying for their kids to see the movie… the Spongebob one, that is (hopefully).

Also, shoutout to the writer and her WNY pride. How ’bout them Bills!?

The Nicktoons have quite a history of having hidden innuendos. We may not have caught them when we were kids, yet watching them now we will notice them. Spongbob, Rocko’s Modern Life, and especially Ren and Stimpy are probably the most adult humor of the Nicktoons.

Did we just demand a Fifty Shades of Grey Spongebob? I mean where did they get an idea like this from?
Probably some weird secretary at the company reading the book and they got lazy and just picked out her book, just saying
