‘Minions’ has some ‘Monster University’ vibes into it, like Scarlett Overkill seemed similar to Dean Abigail Hardscrabble, or it has something to do with the ‘Back Story’ trope.

I also thought of the “All Dogs go to Heaven 2” villain song! Glad I was not the only one XD. Anyway, I’m very excited to watch this film on theaters! For me, every joke hit bullseye; I really cracked up at “Banana!” and the minion sleeping after the hilarious ending of Scarlet’s bedtime story.

After ‘Frozen’, every animated film’s costuming just seems so basic! That being said, the animation style changes are a stroke of genius, and the voice acting is amazing. I had trouble identifying Sandra Bullock in her, until she started screaming, which was perfection.
