I loved “TGMD” (didn’t care for the title at all, since it was obviously a Sherlock Holmes ripoff), and he was great as Basil. Also, Vincent Price in one of his later roles, which made it 20% cooler.

I will miss him. The Great Mouse Detective was a great movie. There are other animated movies about mice, but this is like the third best. Secret of Nimh takes the crown. But hearing his death makes me so sad. The movie had great characters, good music, and witty humor. What can top that? Oh yeah, Secret of Nimh. Thanks Don Bluth! You made stupid movies in the 90s! Exept for Anistasia!
