No no no. They already made a live action if beauty and the beast. That story and how it’s done is best left in animation form. I cannot see it as a live action film. The household object people will not look right and the beast won’t look good.

I got an idea for everyone, it may be hard to do but you all can give it a shot…ready? If you don’t like this idea…then DO NOT SEE THE FILM! It’s so easy. Do not see the film and continue to enjoy the classic animated film we all know and love. Easy and simple. End of story.

In reply to Bianca. You might be thinking of the Warner Brothers film, that was going to be directed by Guillermo del Toro. She was signed on to that originally, as far as we know until now. Guillermo del Toro also left the WB film around last June, when this film was announced to be in the works.

But the director can only have so much fault for the crappy Twilight series – even the best director can only do so well with a bad script.

As for the other reason, I’m holding out to see how Cinderella goes to determine quality of live-action adaptations of the princess films.

I’m interested in seeing where this goes. With production reported to start later this year, more cast and filming information can’t be too far behind this news.

There are 2 reasons I am doubtful of this production.

1. Previous live-action adaptations and how much they messed up the original versions.

2. The guy directing this worked on two of the craptacular Twilight movies (*shudder*).

You can see why I’m not confident in this venture at the moment.
